SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGING MATERIALS
M6 antistatic heat-seal cover tape.
A cover-tape solution for carrier-tape packaging, supported by integrated adhesive formulation, precision coating, slitting and quality inspection resources.

From adhesive formulation and precision coating to finished-roll delivery.
Final materials, dimensions and process conditions are confirmed against the product drawing and application requirements.

M6 heat-seal cover tape
Nominal 43 μm PET, PE and heat-seal multilayer cover tape for PS, PC, PET and paper carriers, combining stable sealing and peel behaviour with physical antistatic performance.

Precision coating line
The profile documents a 30 m multifunction oven line, adhesive-viscosity control to target ±5% and coating-thickness control to ±1 μm.

Slitting & inspection
Slitting and inspection connect adhesive formulation and precision coating to finished-roll delivery.
Structure, material and process conditions.
Layered cover-tape construction
M6 combines PET, PE and a heat-seal layer in a nominal 43 μm construction, balancing mechanical support, sealing stability and peel performance.
Stable heat sealing
The sealing window is tuned around carrier material, temperature, pressure, dwell time and peel requirements. PC and PS carrier evaluations cover multiple sealing temperatures and ageing periods.
Antistatic and mechanical performance
Conductive-grade particles provide physical antistatic performance that remains stable across humidity and temperature changes. Tensile strength exceeds 6,000 psi, elongation exceeds 130%, and light transmittance reaches 85%.
Integrated material production
Dedicated reaction vessels, a multifunction coating line and precision thickness control connect adhesive formulation with cover-tape production.
Precision slitting
Computer-controlled tension and precision male/female tooling reduce edge lift, notch defects and dimensional variation during slitting.
Quality verification
Inspection can cover solids content, specific gravity, drying, ageing, heat-seal strength, peel variation, appearance and surface resistance according to the applicable specification.
Supply and storage conditions
Supply formats include 990 mm × 5,000 m and 330 mm × 2,500 m rolls on 3-inch paper cores. Store below 30°C and 80% relative humidity, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
Release verification
Heat-seal strength, peel stability, high-temperature ageing, appearance, mechanical properties, light transmission and surface resistance form the release-verification route.
